Okay… so there’s not a full blown post for this week. DON’T BE MAD AT ME :,) I have an explanation though. I’m working on a writing piece about the resurgence of wood tones and wood features in interior design, and that requires a lot of research, planning, and trend recognition. I want to write something that is both informed and informative, so I want to take an extra week to better flesh out everything. SO… for this week, I just want to give a little overview here of what is to come next week, and then hopefully y’all are hyped for next week 🙂
What’s in store:
The following is a little list of what I hope to cover next week in my big post!
- A brief history of wood use in interior spaces
- The different types of wood and how they are used
- The last trending style that lacked wood tones and new trends that are emerging
- What demographics are at the forefront of this movement
- How to incorporate it into your space, whether just upgrading or redesigning the whole thing
- Some cited sources!!!!!!!!
A call for feedback:
This will be the first time I am using exterior sources for a more in-depth dive into a niche topic. So far, I have mostly been writing about knowledge that I already have or that is considered “common” within the industry or my own experiences. However, I want to try out some more niche topics that I am passionate about and that contribute to my personal style as well as my work for Dumont Collections and Design, so that you (and my clients or future clients) can get a better sense of where I am coming from!
With all that being said, see you next week >:)
