Hello all! I hope you all had a wonderfully spooky Halloweekend, and I hope the work week following was not too grueling 🙂 Today’s post is going to be a little more relaxed, and more of an update/personal vibe than my usual… hope that’s alright 😉
Updates and Future:
- For starters, I started a new job (ew, I know). It isn’t something I am super stoked about, but with how the economy is going, and with me wanting to move into the city ASAP, it unfortunately makes the most sense. Starting a business without an additional source of income is a little too difficult for me to sustain when I am completely financially independent, but also working on a business startup on the side makes things take longer – THE PARADOX OF A LIFETIME. Long story short, I’m not stoked, but I gotta do what I gotta do. I will still be posting on my blog, and am readily accepting new clients as well, don’t worry!
- I did not post last weekend. It is one of the first weekends that I have skipped since starting this blog, but I PROMISE it was for good reason. My mom’s birthday is on Halloween, so between that, just starting my new job, and wanting to make sure I left time for my friends in the city, I decided to skip a week… don’t be mad at me please ❤
- My schedule might be changing. This one is a little more up in the air, and I would love to hear from you folks. There is a “schedule” feature on this page, so I can certainly keep the same days I post, even if the days I write are on different days, but if that does not matter to you all, I might start posting on Thursdays and Fridays mainly as that is when I am most often off. Let me know your thoughts though. I WANT TO MAKE YOU GUYS HAPPY.
- I’m almost done my interior design certification program. This is a big deal for me! I had completed one in the past, and it is part of what made me fall in love with the industry. That being said, it was not an accredited one, so it did not qualify me for any exams (even though it taught me everything that the accredited one is). Now, after I complete this one, I will have two certifications and qualify to test for a bunch more – exciting stuff! I really hope to have at least 4 by the end of 2026 🙂
Your thoughts:
Now that I have blabbed about my life, I’d love to hear from you all! Since my schedule is changing (maybe), I think it would be cool to hear more about what you guys would like to see from me. Whether it is a specific time period in design history, an interior design style you love, or a topic that you would love a deep dive into, please let me know in the comments!!
Happy fall. Talk soon 😉
